We recognize our social responsibility and aim to improve
the quality of life of our workforce, their families and the
communities around our operations. We pursue a clear
policy dealing with employment practices, occupational
health and safety, community involvement as well as customer
and supplier relations.
- No person shall be subject to any discrimination in employment – including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement – on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion or social or ethnic origin.
- We maintain a high regard for environmental considerations in conducting our business operations, work toward achieving environmentally sustainable business practices and conduct business in accordance with applicable environmental laws and regulations
- Ormita seeks to provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of, linked with or occurring in the course of work or as a result of the operation of employer facilities. We take a proactive approach to health and safety by including policies, systems and training designed to help prevent accidents and injuries.
- Political donations may only be made under Ormita International LLC Board direction. Under current policy there are no political donations. Political donations by licensees must be approved by the Chief Executive and notified to the company secretary. Licensee and Head Office political donations are reported to the Board annually.

We trust that our vendors, including firms and individuals
who provide direct service to or directly to our members,
will honor our commitment to integrity. While vendors are
viewed as independent entities, their business practices can
reflect upon our brand and reputation. We expect all vendors
to embrace and adhere to our Member and/or Vendor
Code of Conduct. With regards to our dealings with our
members, Ormita provides the following undertakings:
- We have a clear communications policy with our
shareholders, employees and other stakeholders. We
commit ourselves to open, transparent, impartial and
timely information.
- We will not operate an Ormita deficit account and all
expenditures with our members shall be made from
funds available.
- Ormita does not condone the misrepresentation, concealment,
or manipulation of privileged information,
and forbids any understanding with competitors on
pricing, market allocation, or other efforts to restrict
competition. We abide by all applicable anti-trust
and competition laws in all countries in which we operate.
- Ormita recognizes the importance of diversity in all
areas of our business. As responsible corporate citizens,
we are committed to supporting the growth of
businesses owned by minorities and women. It is our
policy to ensure that all companies, regardless of race
or gender of ownership, have the opportunity to earn
our business. Ormita seeks to award business to companies
that can meet our needs. Supplier selection
is based on a number of elements including quality,
price, service, financial viability, technical competence,
capability to deliver, and overall risk analysis.
Ormita will select suppliers from those that best meet
our selection criteria. Where possible, preference will
be given to minority suppliers that meet our selection
criteria.
